Kyle Treadway, Chair-Elect of the ATD Board of Directors, to Address the Formal Opening of the 46th Annual ATD Convention
R. Kyle Treadway, a third generation dealer and owner of franchised Kenworth dealerships located across seven Western states, is chairman-elect of the American Truck Dealers (ATD) division of the National Automobile Dealers Assocation (NADA). He has been with Kenworth since 1987. Treadway was elected as ATD's Kenworth line representative in April 2005. While on the Board, he has served on the Convention, Industry Relations, and Dealership Operations Committees. In addition to his dealership duties, he is a memer of the Bar Association in three Western states. Treadway received the Distinguished Service Award from the Utah Trucking Association in 2004, and the Western Region Dealer of the Year award in 1996.

Mary Matalin formerly served as assistant to President George W. Bush and counselor to Vice President Dick Cheney, and was the first White House official to hold that double title. Before joining the Bush/Cheney White House, she hosted CNN's critically acclaimed debate show, Crossfire.
The ATD Commerical Truck of the Year Award will be Presented at the Registrants' Luncheon on Sunday, April 19
ATD is excited to annouce a new, annual award that will recognize the best new heavy- and medium-duty trucks by current model year sold in the United States. Beginning at the 2009 ATD Convention & Expo, the award will recognize a truck in the heavy-duty category only. Then in 2010, there will be two awards: one for the heavy-duty truck and one for the medium-duty truck.
The Award will feature the best, new heavy-duty truck based on innovation, design, fuel economy, driver and owner satisfaction, ease of maintenance and safety.
To ensure the selection process is entirely impartial and emocratic, a judging panel has been selected from top industry journalists and writer who cover the commerical heavy- and medium-duty truck market in North America.
James L. Hebe, Senior Vice President of Navistar North American Sales Operation will Address the Registrants' Luncheon on April 20
Jim Hebe, a distinguished trucking industry leader, began his career with Navistar back in 1971 and went on to become CEO of Freightliner and Seagrave. In his new role with Navistar International, he has responsibility for North American Sales, dealer operations and central administation.

Over twenty-five years ago, the Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people that employed them. Most cast members have worked on Capitol Hill, some for Democreats, some for Republicans, others for politicians who firmly straddle the fence. No matter who hold office, there's never a shortage of material. No matter who's in the headlines, the Capitol Steps are equal opportunity offenders.
Fabulous Greaseband
Back in 1973, a group of Central Jersey high school students combined musically to intertain a spring festival audience. 
Amidst the Bach, Brahms and the Hallelujahs, these guys brought the house down with a sparking tribute to a golden era of music. The Fabulous Greaseband is a seven member 'Best of the 50's thru the 90's' Rock 'n' Roll Party Band. Their highly entertaining and energetic delivery of the greatest dance songs ever written has kept the group on top.
